Then come to the Dott 07 Design Festival October 16-28 situated between the Sage and the Baltic, which will celebrate Necklace Mapping on wide screens for two weeks…and where you can meet other mappers and would-be mappers.

The Dott 07 Design Festival will be the culmination of two years of work in the North East, and along with Mapping the Necklace you can check out urban farming from Middlesborough, cyborg futures, Eco design challenges, how to make “welcomes”, sustainable tourism, design camps, and many more fascinating and provocative projects which have gripped other parts of the North East at the same time as the Mapping.

The Dott 07 Festival will bring together the results of projects and enable all the people involved to share experiences. The Festival will be an opportunity not only to celebrate their achievements but, more importantly, for many more people to find out how to do similar projects for themselves.
